FINTEL Internet Services Fiji Limited t/a KIDANET is seeking to recruit outstanding individuals who are enthusiastic, self-motivated, customer oriented, dedicated and willing to work in a demanding environment to fill the following position:  NETWORK ENGINEER

The applicants will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the Technical Team to meet customer expectations of service levels.

Key Accountabilities will include :

• Provide technical support for the maintenance of core services development, expansion and enhancement of the network facilities per specification requirements.
• Provide analysis and evaluation of network infrastructure to ensure compatibility and to meet future and current capacity demands with due diligence to developments in the external market structure
• Assist in research and development of solutions to meet customer demands due to market expansion and innovative products and services.
• With a strong focus on customer service, supervise Technical Officers to ensure that all customer issues are addressed in a timely and efficient manner, including provisioning, maintenance and operations
  

Qualification Requirements:

• The applicant must have a Degree in Telecommunication Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent.
• At least 4 years experience in Telecommunications Engineering 
• Added advantage having skills in ISP and telecommunications engineering, including maintenance of the core network and base stations
  

Competitive remuneration packages will be offered to successful candidates on a two year contract and renewed subject to performance.
